Sharon Wee is the author of "Growing Up in a Nonya Kitchen", published in 2012. This blog continues her reflections on food, culture, travel and new thoughts and discoveries in a global setting. Born in Singapore, she now lives in New York City and also spends time in her hometown and in London. She was a featured panelist at the Singapore Writers' Festival in 2013.

I have decided to consolidate my blog articles and new insights into one new website called nonya.global.
This is going to be a new adventure and work-in-progess. It reflects that we now live in a smaller global community where food is a common passion we share, along with other interests such as travel, books and trusty brands.
